Nick’s Automotive is looking for two experienced auto technicians to who can work on both Domestic and Japanese cars and light duty trucks. We do everything from A to Z other than engine and transmission rebuilds, smog tests and alignments.

We are currently seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team and contribute to our mission of keeping our community’s vehicles running smoothly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements.
- Execute engine repairs and replacements with precision, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Utilize diagnostic scanners and computer systems to troubleshoot complex automotive problems effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver effective solutions and maintain high-quality service.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and communicate findings to customers clearly and professionally.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training and education.
- Uphold a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic, with a strong understanding of engine systems and vehicle repair.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, scanners, and computer systems to troubleshoot automotive issues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Must possess a complete toolbox and a valid driver’s license.
- ASE certification or equivalent training is preferred but not mandatory.

Additional Benefits
- Competitive pay rate ranging from $30 to $50 per hour based on experience and ability.
- Paid vacation benefits begin after the second year of employment.
- Major holiday pay
- Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
- We offer guaranteed weekly pay during slow time at an agreed amount
